consciousness and intentional human transformation. That
inquiry continued through to the development of Brain

Why This
Matters in the AI Era
AI can
dramatically extend the speed and reach of human activity.
But expanding technological capability does not
automatically develop the human intelligence responsible for
directing it.
A leader
may have access to exceptional computational power yet
remain limited by emotional reactivity, depleted capacity,
habitual assumptions, weak judgment or an undeveloped sense
of purpose. This is why NQI does not begin and end with

Extended
Intelligence is not simply the combination of Human
Intelligence and Artificial Intelligence. It represents an
ongoing investigation into how the underlying human
developmental system can support higher levels of awareness,
intuitive discernment, creative synthesis, judgment and
purposeful action.
AI can
augment the reach of these capabilities. It must not become
a substitute for developing them.
